State Fair Stabbing Update:
Victim stabbed is 20 and was seriously injured.
The suspect was arrested this morning by ISP SWAT.
37-year-old Steven T. Mimms was found hiding in an attic of a home in the 500 Block of North Beville Avenue in Indianapolis.
Mimms is preliminary charged with:
- Attempted Murder
- Escape (from home detention)
- Resisting Law Enforcement.
Mimms was transported to an Indianapolis area hospital for evaluation. He will soon be transported to the Marion County Jail.
It’s the weekend, and I am just leaving church. It appears Mimms has a lengthy criminal history. I will dive into that tomorrow when I get details confirmed.
