From Noblesville School Referendum Facts on Facebook:
π· We followed the property-tax dollar through all 6 Hendricks County school districts.
And the school share changes quite a bit depending on where you live.
This is the last county in this round of the series before we move on to the next deep dive.
A few numbers that stood out:
π· Avon had the highest estimated share going to schools at 58.8%.
π· Plainfield was the lowest at 39.5%.
π· For our median-home examples, the estimated dollars going to schools ranged from about $946 in Plainfield to $1,846 in Avon.
Same county. Same basic tax system. Pretty different results.
Does your district land where you expected?
π· Public Records. Simplified.
