This is why I love living in rural Indiana. Out here, a farm can set fresh sweet corn by the road, leave a handwritten sign that says “Take what you want, leave the money in the jar,” and trust folks to do the right thing.
It may seem like a small thing, but it says a lot about this place, hardworking farmers, neighbors who still look out for one another, and a kind of honesty that hasn’t disappeared. Fresh corn, an old coffee can for change, and faith in people, rural Indiana at its finest 🙏
