New details in the kidnapping and child molestation case I first told you about on Tuesday.
According to the probable case Isidro Gonzalez-Candido is accused of using scissors to cut open a window screen and kidnapped a 7-year-old girl from her bedroom.
The little girl talked to detectives and she said she cried, she was scared and Gonzalez-Candido hurt her.
The little girl was found by a relative in a nearby apartment with a man she knows. He was naked and the little girl did not have pants on. She was taken to the hospital where a SANE kit was completed.
Gonzalez-Candido was arrested just before 10:30PM Monday night on Admiral Drive on the east side of Indianapolis.
He now faces 7 charges including kidnapping, criminal confinement, and 3 counts of child molestation. One is a level 1 felony that carries a prison sentence of 20 to 50 years. He also faces burglary and battery of a child under 14.
Gonzalez-Candido has no previous violent criminal history in Indiana. He was charged with a misdemeanor traffic violation in June for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. He told police he did not have a driver’s license, had never tried to get one, and only had a Mexican identification. He told police his vehicle belonged to his LLC.
He also has an immigration detainer hold.
His initial hearing in Marion county is next Tuesday and right now he’s being held on no bond.
